Echoes of the Blood Moons

This week, just before dawn on October 17, an unusual gathering of four planets brings a message echoing the Blood Moon message of grace amidst Judgement.

Jupiter (The Suffering Savior) and Mars (The Blood of Christ) come within ½ degree of each other in the constellation Leo (The Lion). Leo pictures the final triumph of Christ, as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah stands over a dead snake cut into pieces (Hydra), representing the demise of Satan and his followers. However, the presence of Jupiter (The Suffering Savior) shows that the door of salvation opened by Christ is still available. The planet Mars (The Blood of Christ) shows us how to realize God’s offer of Salvation through the atonement of Christ. As such, the message is an echo of the Blood Moons of 2014 -2015, pointing to revival in the midst of Judgement (See our Blog of 9/23/15 “Blood Moon Finale”).

Meanwhile Venus (The Seed of Woman) is also shining in Leo as it moves towards the final conjunction of its triple conjunction with Jupiter (See our Blog of 6/24/15 “The Triple Conjunction of Jupiter and Venus”). A conjunction is simply a coming together of planets, and sometimes the orbital location of planets creates three conjunctions in a short period of time. This meeting of Jupiter and Venus seems to emphasize the Grace aspect, that the Seed of Woman will come as Suffering Savior to redeem us. Mars will also be close by, adding its testimony of Grace by the Blood of the Lamb. Yet the location in Leo also reminds us that the Seed of Woman will crush the head of the Serpent (Gen 3:15). The conjunction will occur before dawn on October 25, when Jupiter and Venus will come within 1.1 degrees of each other.

Finally, there will be another manifestation of the victory of Christ over evil as the planet Mercury (Lucifer) makes its appearance on the horizon just before dawn. Venus (The Seed of Woman) is also known as the Bright Morning Star and represents Christ’s triumph (Rev 22:16). Mercury (Lucifer), on the other hand, is the Morning Star laid low (Is 14:12), a picture of Satan’s fall and ultimate destruction. This picture also echoes the Blood Moon scripture that Satan is overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Rev 12:11).

We invite you to read about the Blood Moons and the coming revival in our book The Mystery of the Blood Moons which is available at Amazon and most book sellers.

So if you are up before dawn this week take a look at the Blood Moon echoes in the East. And tell a friend about God’s Grace amidst the Judgment.
