The Sign of Christ’s Advent

On December 21, 2018, on the Winter Solstice, the Constellation Sagittarius (The Archer) moves behind the sun.

Sagittarius is the fourth chapter of the Star Bible, picturing an Archer drawing back on his bow to shoot an arrow. The arrow is Christ (Is 49:1-7), and the constellation represents the first coming of Christ. The constellation also plays an important role in the Advent of Christ, even though we believe He was born in March, not December.

Genesis 1:14 tells us that the Sun, Moon, and Stars are signs to mark “seasons”, or appointed times, as well as “days and years”. A wobble in the Earth’s rotation creates a phenomenon called the precession of the equinoxes which moves the stars backwards from the season change points 1 day every 70 years. Thus, the “Signs”, the zodiacal constellations, change seasons over long periods of time averaging 2,100 years, creating a great celestial prophetic time clock. Prior to the advent of Christ those seasonal sign changes occurred with the Flood of Noah, the Call of Abraham, the Exodus, and the Exile. Seasonal sign changes also marked the coming of Christ.

Sagittarius is the sign of the Coming of the Seed of Woman. The Winter season represents Christ’s descent and suffering on earth (Hos 6:3). In 7 BC the sign of Christ’s coming,

Sagittarius, was moved by the precession of the equinoxes into The Season of Christ’s Coming, Winter. This prophetic celestial sign occurred at the same time as the conception of John the Baptist and was one of the signs in the Sun, Moon, and Stars which would have been observed by the Wise Men. In fact, the Star of Bethlehem appeared on the meridian of Winter, December 21, at the time of Passover in 5BC to make the unmistakable statement that Christ had come.

Since 7BC the precession of the equinoxes has taken the constellation Sagittarius almost all the way through the Winter Solstice. In 2121 AD the constellation Ophiuchus (The Serpent Held) will take the place of Sagittarius and move into the Winter Solstice. This change we believe to be one of the signs in the Sun, Moon and Stars of Christ Second Coming.

This year join the Wise Men, who knew the signs in the Sun, Moon, and Stars of Christ’s Advent, in worshiping Christ.

And have a Merry Christmas!
