The New Year’s Comet

This week a comet known as 41 P /Tuttle-Giacobini-Kresak will pass within 12 million miles of Earth and may be visible to the naked eye by the end of March. Since the first day of the Jewish religious calendar begins with I Nisan on March 28, we call this the New Year’s Comet.

We describe comets as “Celestial Messengers” which are part of the celestial revelation of Christ. The Heavens above us are like the ceiling of a great Cathedral, containing pictures (The constellations) painted with fire and given meaning by God. (Job 38:32) The motions of the Sun, Moon and planets follow preordained patterns bringing regular attention to the constellations and their meanings, like reading through the Bible on an annual basis. However, occasionally an unexpected “Celestial Messenger” arrives to pinpoint a particular message in the sky.

The most famous Celestial Messenger was the Star of Bethlehem, which announced the birth of Jesus. In the years 2013 to 2015 we have seen several comets, asteroids, and meteors which brought messages in conjunction with the Blood Moon Tetrads of 2014-2015. In 2013 we had an asteroid fly within 18,000 miles of Earth on the same day as the most powerful meteor impact in a century hit Russia, both sending warnings to repent. There were comets at Passover of 2013 and 2014, and a comet in 2013 which disintegrated on Hanukkah, all with the same message of repentance and returning to God. See our book, The Mystery of the Blood Moons for more information about these Celestial Messengers and the Blood Moon promises of outpouring of the Holy Spirit, salvation, and overcoming evil.

The path of the 2017 New Year’s Comet yields a message very similar to the comets which accompanied the Blood Moon Tetrads of 2014-2015. The comet is currently located in Ursa Major, (The Great Sheepfold) known as The Assembly to the Hebrews, which pictures the Church. The Comet passes close to the Stars Merak (The Purchased) and Dubhe (Flock), a reminder that those purchased by Christ are members of the same flock. Then the comet moves into the constellation Draco (The Dragon), a picture of Satan and his kingdom. There it passes near to Thuban (The Subtle), warning us against the temptations of Satan. Thuban was also once the North Pole Star, indicating world dominance, but has lost its place through the precession of the equinoxes, and now serves as a harbinger of defeat for Satan and his kingdom.

Like the Celestial Messengers of 2013-2015 which amplified the message of the Lunar Eclipse Tetrad of 2014-2015, the 2017  New Year’s Comet amplifies the message of the great Solar Eclipse coming on August 21, 2017. This Eclipse, coming on the first day of the Hebrew repentance season of Teshuvah, is a call for the Church to repent and return to God, and a warning to God’s enemies to repent or face judgment. The New Year’s Comet warns us to come together as one flock purchased by Jesus, and warns those deceived by Satan to repent before Judgment comes. See more information on our website Teshuvah2017.com.

So get out your binoculars and try to find the New Year’s Comet, and tell someone that it is not too late to repent and return to God.
